Stan Jones

• Inducted July 27th, 1991
• Played college football at the University of Maryland
• Received the Knute Rockne Memorial Trophy recognizing the nation's top lineman
• Named to seven consecutive Pro Bowls
• Fred Williams said "he was a leader, somebody you look up to. I'll tell you one thing - he could lift the side of a house. He was one strong son of a gun"
• First athlete to regularly use weight-lifting to improve his strength
• Hall of Fame teammate Doug Atkins said "Boy he was a load. His stature made it difficult for anyone he played against. To put it mildly, he was a hard guy to move around."
• Considered the Bears' title victory over New York in 1963 his greatest thrill as a player
