Stan Jones

- Played college football at the University of Maryland
- Received the Knute Rockne Memorial Trophy recognizing the nation's top lineman
- Named to seven consecutive Pro Bowls
- Fred Williams said "he was a leader, somebody you look up to. I'll tell you one thing - he could lift
the side of a house. He was one strong son of a gun"
- First athlete to regularly use weight-lifting to improve his strength
- Hall of Fame teammate Doug Atkins said "Boy he was a load. His stature made it difficult for anyone
he played against. To put it mildly, he was a hard guy to move around."
- Considered the Bears' title victory over New York in 1963 his greatest thrill as a player
